Hichki Trailer: Rani is back with her next Hichki

Rani Mukerji has been away from the movies for a while. Her last film was Mardaani (2014) and fans have been eagerly looking forward to seeing their favourite actor back on screen. She has been enjoying being a mother to beautiful daughter Adira all this while but has decided to renew her innings at the movies. Rani is back with her next Hichki and we are super excited after watching the trailer which was unveiled today.

Hichki talks about the journey of a teacher who suffers from speech disorder called Tourette syndrome. In the film, Rani is seen as Naina Mathur, who believes that she was "born to be a teacher" – and it’s only her speech problem that makes her an oddball teacher. The trailer shows Rani being in charge of a group of 14 students from the lower income group who are given an opportunity to gain education from an elite school.  One would get to see how Rani’s character in the film works towards her dreams making the best use of her disability.

Hichki is produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The film will hit the theatres on February 23.
